Inflammation in bitches that have laid dogs

Bitches that have given birth are prone to inflammation. Female dogs are prone to vaginitis, uterine infections and even uterine pus accumulation after giving birth. Therefore, it is advisable for owners to take their dogs to the vet for examination first. If it is vaginitis or uterine infection, it can be treated by oral or injected anti-inflammatory drugs. If there is uterine pus accumulation, it is best to control the inflammation first before surgical treatment. Inflammation due to tearing of the birth canal after the dog has given birth can be treated with broad-spectrum antibiotics for systemic antibacterial and anti-inflammatory treatment to prevent secondary infection. Some dogs are infected after delivery due to contamination of origin, and pathogenic microorganisms can enter the uterus through the birth canal and cause endometritis, which can be controlled with antibiotics in mild cases or require removal of the uterus in severe cases.
