How to choose an English Bulldog? The English Bulldog’s head is square when viewed from the front, with a large head and flat skull; the English Bulldog has round eyes, a relatively wide nose, black nosepiece, semi-erect ears with soft ear hair; the body is overall thick and short, muscular, with a short, smooth coat, and a short, naturally drooping tail. When looking at the English Bulldog’s head from the front, it should be square, while from the side it looks like a brick shape; it is not square, but rectangular. The English Bulldog has a large head with a relatively flat skull cap between the ears and a depression between the eyes. The muzzle is wider and deeper, the lips should be looser and broader, the forehead more muscular, the lower cheeks deeper, quadrilateral, wider and slightly curved. The nose is also wider. Both lips and nose should be black. A good English Bulldog should be short and round, with strong bones, more developed muscles, a wider and deeper chest, full and upwardly closing ribs, broad and short shoulders and back, a narrower waist, bent hips and a developed belly.
