The best eye color is black or dark brown with a circle of black or brown skin surrounding the small round eyes of the Bichon Frise. Overly large or protruding eyes, almond-shaped eyes, and crooked eyes do not meet the criteria for a purebred. If the Bichon’s eyes are not black or dark brown, but some other color, then it is not a purebred Bichon.
