What vaccinations for Golden 1. Kennel Cough Vaccine: Prevents canine bronchial septic Bordetella and canine parainfluenza. This vaccine can be used for Golden puppies up to 2 weeks of age and is safe and reliable for pregnant bitches. 2. Small dog diphtheria vaccine: Prevention of canine distemper and canine microvirus. It can be used for small Golden Retrievers from 4 to 6 weeks of age. 3. Canine 6 vaccine: protects against distemper, canine microvirus, canine parainfluenza, canine adenovirus (type 1 or 2) and canine leptospirosis. Vaccination is given once at the 7th, 10th and 13th week of age, and then once a year. For adult dogs or dogs over 3 months of age, the first vaccination should be given twice at 3-week intervals and then once a year thereafter. 4. Rabies vaccine: It mainly prevents rabies. Imported rabies vaccine can be given once a year at 3 months of age or older.
