A Sheltie with flying ears will not stand up no matter how much calcium is added to his ears. The standard shape of the Schnauzer’s ears is to fold forward parallel to each other in a positive V-shape, with the top basically the same height as the top of the head, not exceeding it too much, while the inner edge of the ears are close to the cheeks.
