The age of a found teddy can be judged by its teeth. 1-15 days or so, the dog’s mouth is toothless. 15-20 days or so, the teeth begin to develop, slowly growing tiny, irregularly arranged teeth. 8 months-12 months, all replaced with white, shiny permanent teeth. 2-5 years or so, the teeth are worn to varying degrees. after 8 years, the teeth begin to fall out. Younger dogs have shiny and bright coats, while older dogs begin to develop grayish coats due to lower levels of amino acid production in their bodies. The younger dogs have strong bones, are active, and move with a dexterous and versatile body. 2-5 year old dogs become sedate but still athletic as they get older. 10 year old dogs and older are very old and will become sluggish.
