Dogs hear movement and bark, indicating that there are sounds outside to stimulate the dog. Usually, you should train your dog more to keep it quiet at night. There are times when a dog barks incessantly just to convey some kind of message to its owner. If the owner responds moderately and shows appreciation, understanding that the task is completed, the dog will naturally shut up. For those dogs that are more nervous, they will bark as soon as they hear something. If you can’t completely get rid of the environmental noise, you may want to create some sound as a distraction. For example, when the mailman passes by, turn on the noisy vacuum cleaner to confuse the dog’s hearing.
