Puppies open their eyes for a few days

Puppies will open their eyes in about 10 days. Never force your dog’s eyes open by hand; these actions will likely cause blindness or permanent tears into the wind due to bright light irritation. Dogs that open their eyes late may not open their eyes until 17 days after birth, so owners need not be too anxious. Owners need to be especially attentive when caring for a newborn puppy. Because the urinary system of the puppy is not well developed, it is recommended that the owner needs to gently stimulate the dog’s buttocks with a cotton swab several times a day, on time, so that if there is urine, the dog will be unable to control the discharge.
