How to keep the fighting fish

It is not recommended to keep a pair of fighting fish in the same tank. It is easy for them to fight after they meet and cause injury. If you must keep them, it is recommended to keep two fish in different tanks, or add a separating plate in a large fish tank and put one fish on one side. This way they won’t meet and fight. Water quality: When raising fighting fish, it is recommended to use water that has been exposed to the sun. Tap water has some chemicals that are harmful to the growth of fighting fish. However, after the water has been exposed to the sun, the chemicals in the tap water will evaporate and thus become more suitable for the growth of fighting fish. Water temperature: The fighting fish is a tropical fish that likes to grow in water that is warmer. Therefore, when breeding, it is recommended to keep the water temperature between 25-28°C. If the water is too cold, you can use a heating rod to warm up the water. Try not to keep them in cold water for a long time. If the water temperature is very low, their appetite will drop significantly. Water change: When breeding fighting fish, it is best to change its water every 5-7 days. If the tank does not have a filtration system, it is best to change the water every 2-3 days. You don’t need to change all the water every time, just about a third of it. Feeding: You need to feed your fighting fish every day. If you are keeping adult fish, you can feed them once a day. If you are keeping small fish, you can feed them 2-3 times a day. You don’t need to feed too much each time, just let the fish eat until they are 7-8% full. Eating too much will easily spoil them.
