What about Teddy’s picky eating? First of all, check your Teddy’s body to make sure your Teddy puppy is not suffering from any disease, but simply picky eating. When feeding, give Teddy his normal meal first and wait 10 seconds. If the puppy starts eating within 10 seconds, then you don’t have to do anything and the dog is doing well. If he dawdles, or sniffs and runs off to play, put the meal away and don’t give any food until the next feeding time. At the next feeding time, if Teddy finishes his meal quickly, that’s good. If there is a little left, then reduce the portion size for the next feeding. Some Teddy puppies are so stubborn that they can hold out for three or four days without eating until you give in. That’s when it’s time for you to compete with your will. Be aware that as long as there is plenty of water, it is not likely to harm Teddy’s health for the puppies to go without food for 2-3 days or even longer.
