The ugliest dog breeds are called the Chinese Crested, the Mexican Hairless and the Peruvian Hairless. All are basically hairless dogs that many people find very ugly, but there are also people who love these dogs. The Chinese Crested has only a small amount of hair on its head, but no hair on its body, and a crown of hair on the top of its head, much like a Qing Dynasty official’s hat, so it is named the Chinese Crested. The Mexican Hairless does not have hair on its body and will sweat in the hot summer months. The Peruvian Hairless is also very small in size and has no extra hair on its body except for a few hairs on its head, paws and tail.
