Puppies are vaccinated at the same time as people, and vaccinations are an effective way for dogs to prevent major diseases. In the case of Intervet, three vaccinations are given, each 15 days apart; add a rabies vaccination and the complete cycle is 45 days. The first vaccination is usually chosen to be given at about 45 days of age in dogs. The 28-day first vaccination method for dogs has gradually been replaced. The immunity of puppies after birth is mainly derived from maternal antibodies, and the main reason for choosing 28 days for vaccination in the past was to prevent the occurrence of diseases such as microcephaly that can cause death in dogs. However, in reality, individual puppies become ill before 45 days because of the low maternal antibodies in their bodies. Nowadays, regular breeding kennels will strengthen the immunization of the mother dog when she is pregnant to improve the level of maternal antibodies, so that the puppy will have better resistance at birth than before, so the first vaccination time is changed from 28 days to 45 days. In addition, most of the vaccines given to dogs nowadays are not inactivated vaccines, but weak vaccines, so when the dog’s resistance is weak, the vaccine will turn into a disease-causing factor and make the dog sick. The resistance of a 28-day puppy is definitely weaker than that of a 45-day puppy, so it is obviously better to inoculate the dog when it is 45 days old. Deworming is also necessary for good home hygiene. When a dog is nursing, the infective eggs on the mother’s nipples are also brought into the puppy’s body for parasitism, and dogs like to sniff feces and sniff anus, and there are easily mites, fleas, ticks and other parasites on the body surface (inside) and body hair, so puppies should be regularly dewormed internally and externally. Some dogs with weak stomachs may vomit and need extra attention; the dog’s feces should be cleaned up in time to prevent secondary infection. Some veterinary hospitals will let you deworm your dog every half month, but in fact, after the first two internal dewormings, you will be clean, after that my advice is to do an external deworming once a month and an internal deworming once a quarter or so (depending on your dog’s condition). Also, some vets will recommend deworming medication that says “dogs can eat during the vaccination period”, but I still don’t recommend giving your dog internal deworming medication during the vaccination period. The two main types of in vitro deworming are baths and deworming drops. The latter is simple and convenient, while the former has a wider range of action and is more effective at killing mites, etc. The method of use and periodicity varies from drug to drug; medicated bath once a month or once a quarter as appropriate.
Want to let the dog less hair you need to pay attention to 1, to prevent the dog eat things with salt, salt it is difficult to metabolize, eat more hair loss; 2, animal offal must pay attention to the serving size, do not eat more; 3, the appropriate amount of short cut; 4, with some imported pet shampoo, the United States and Germany some brands of pet shampoo will make the hair more supple; 5, really can not resign to fate, anyway, I am admitted.
