According to scientific research, 3g of xylitol is enough to kill an adult dog, and the poisoning of a dog usually occurs after half an hour, and if it does not get timely treatment within that half hour, the dog will have a life-threatening condition. Even a small amount of xylitol can cause significant damage to a dog’s liver.
