Labrador change owner

Although Labrador has a good and loyal memory, it can accept a change of owner, but it just needs a period of transition. Generally the best choice for a dog to change owners is before 3 months of age, because at this time the dog is not mature and does not yet have a strong memory of the owner. If it becomes an adult dog after 6 months, then it will be more difficult. Basically, it will still remember the original owner within 2-3 years, but as long as the current owner treats it well, it will gradually be accepted. When a dog is first picked up, it may appear reluctant to approach and interact with its new owner, and the amount of food it eats will decrease, but as long as the new owner gradually interacts with it positively, it will generally be accepted in a few months. However, depending on the type and age of the dog, the time to adapt to a new owner varies from dog to dog, with short days or a week or two to get used to.
