Whether a dog will die from eating cockroach pills depends on what kind of cockroach pills it takes and how much it takes in. There are generally four types of cockroach pills: chemical cockroach pills, biological cockroach pills, natural plant-based cockroach pills and physical cockroach pills. If your dog has ingested a chemical cockroach poison, take it to the vet as soon as possible to induce vomiting, check for damage to the liver and kidney system and detoxify the dog promptly. If your dog accidentally ingests a very small amount of other cockroach pesticides, do not be concerned, but observe them closely and preferably take them to the hospital as well.
