First heat bitches are generally not suitable for breeding and we generally recommend that bitches are bred on their second to third in heat, with males being around 2 years old. When a bitch is in heat, breeding is generally done around 12-14 days in heat, 1-2 times, once every 48 hours is good. Some male dogs are inexperienced and need to rely on human assistance to do this.
