What to do if your puppy has a bit of diarrhoea

If it has been regularly immunised, then consider whether there has been a recent cold or dietary problem, and then whether there has been indiscriminate eating. Some medical conditions can also cause diarrhoea, such as pancreatitis. Diagnose the cause before treating. If the dog has not been regularly immunised, it is advisable to check for infectious and parasitic diseases first, and if either of these is diagnosed, then the corresponding treatment can be done.
