What to do if your dog barks at guests

It is possible for the guest and the dog to establish a good relationship. The owner should work with the guest and after the guest enters the home, the owner settles the dog and allows the guest to stroke the underside of the dog’s face (taking care not to touch the head) while giving the dog his favourite snack. After the temptation of food and physical contact, the dog will let down his guard a little. Praise your dog and reward him if he stops barking. Punish appropriately. Some dogs are too naughty to be easily tamed, so it’s time to take some strong measures.
