Sneezing and a runny nose indicate that the cat has a “cold”. There are many reasons for a cold, and if it is caused by the change of season and cold air, it may improve with anti-inflammatory and respiratory medication. However, if your cat has a viral infection, it may need to be diagnosed in hospital and given antiviral medication. If the cat has a rhinitis, nasal drops may be required.
