Kittens are characterised by a round head, short face, five fingers on the front limbs and four toes on the hind limbs, with sharp, curved claws at the end of the toes and retractable claws. The cat is a good climber and jumper and has a better balance of its organs than other animals. When it jumps from a high place and loses its balance, the nervous system will quickly command the skeletal muscles to move as fast as possible to adjust the unbalanced body to a normal position. Also, kittens are solitary animals, not pack animals, so their sense of territoriality can be very strong.
