Symptoms of muscle strain in dogs

Dogs with muscle strains will show signs of pain, usually in the form of fear and avoidance or even painful barking when they touch the muscle strain. If the muscle is strained in an extremity, the dog may walk with a limp, not put weight on the limb and may not even want to walk.
