Symptoms of fungal skin disease in dogs

Firstly, dogs with fungus will initially have itching, hair loss areas will appear as circles, red blisters and papules on the skin. Dogs will scratch frequently with their paws and bite with their mouths to relieve the itching. Secondly, in the middle stages of the fungus, flakes and crusts may be observed on the affected skin. Thirdly, in the later stages of the disease, ulcers may form and hyperpigmentation of the skin may occur.
