There are many advantages: the Samoyed is very intelligent, learns things quickly, has a gentle temperament, is loyal to its owner and is very adaptable. It is not aggressive towards people and is very sociable. Disadvantages: rather naughty, mischievous, gets dirty easily, has a white coat that needs regular treatment and is also a voracious eater.
