Persian cat eye colour

Typically, Persian cats have blue, green, bronze, amber and gold eye colours, with the purer and darker the eye colour, the more popular the Persian is. For cats with mandarin eyes, some people think that this is a sign of a pure Persian cat, but this is not the case. Cats with different eye colours often have a more mixed pedigree. Persian cats with blue and amber pupil colours are generally purebred Persian cats.
