If a puppy has diarrhoea, there are two main causes, one is gastroenteritis and the other is distemper, vaccination and deworming. So just treat the symptoms. As puppies are too young, their gastrointestinal functions are not yet complete, so when they encounter something difficult to digest or food that their stomachs cannot absorb, they will easily suffer from diarrhoea. You can give your puppy some probiotics in the meantime.
