The Tadokoro refers to the Akita. The Akita belongs to the largest fox breed in Japan and is medium-sized with a large, broad head, small eyes, a curved tail, strong bones and a height of between 61cm and 71cm. In Japan, the Akita is a national historical heritage dog and is the only large dog designated as a national natural monument in Japan, as it is known for its “faithful dog, Yakuza”. The dog is very brave, sensitive, loyal and intelligent, and there are many stories of its loyalty.
