Is there a high cure rate for distemper?

Canine distemper, commonly known as distemper, is a viral infection. The main manifestations are: depression, loss of appetite, high fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, respiratory problems, and in severe cases, neurological symptoms. Of course there is a mortality rate for viral diseases and the cure rate is dependent on age, immunisation and the condition of the disease. Distemper should be treated aggressively if found.
