How to test for pregnancy in a female cat

Generally the first stages of pregnancy are less obvious when the cat has just been mated, and some cats may show changes in temperament. To see if you are pregnant it is generally recommended that around 28-30 days after breeding, you can go to the hospital for an ultrasound to see if there is a foetal sac, or take an X-ray after 45 days. Some experienced people can go by the symptoms to determine this.
