How to pull out your pet’s ears

Have cotton swabs, cotton balls and a special ear wash for pets ready. If your dog has ear hair it needs to be removed in advance. Calm your pet, pick up one ear and put 2-3 drops of ear wash along the ear, pinch the base of the ear gently for a few moments, then wipe off excess wash with a clean cotton ball and use a cotton swab soaked in the wash to pull out the ear discharge, taking care not to injure the small animal’s ear canal. If it suffers from ear mites, apply the ear medication again at the end.
