When a Golden Retriever puppy first arrives home, it needs to be housed in a kennel and tidied up. For new arrivals it is recommended to soak the dog food in warm water every day and feed it, following a small and frequent diet, slowly switching to dry food later on, adding probiotics, nutritional creams, calcium etc to the food. Avoid skeletal conditions during a period of rapid body development. Do not bathe your puppy, just feed normally as an adult.
