How to distinguish distemper from microscopic colds in dogs

Distemper has many similar symptoms to distemper and microcephaly, such as respiratory and gastrointestinal symptoms, but distemper has a characteristic biphasic fever (the temperature starts to rise, then falls, but does not drop to a normal temperature, then continues to rise again), and distemper has neurological symptoms later in life; microcephaly has characteristic tomato juice-like bloody stools. The white blood cells of distemper and fine puppies will all drop.
