The limit of a dog’s hunger tolerance is around two weeks. However, water should be available during this period. Dogs can also be unable to find something to eat for about a week or two when they are in the wild, so they are still very resistant to starvation. But dogs can become dehydrated after two or three days of not eating, and this is not the time to feed food first, but to give some glucose water first and then feed afterwards.
