There are 3 types of dog bites Generally speaking, there are 3 levels of dog scratching and biting. Type 1: After being scratched and bitten by a dog, the skin is intact and no teeth marks are left. Type 2: A bite or scratch from an animal that does not bleed but has bite marks, scratches or bruises on the surface of the skin. Type 3: Bleeding and open wounds are present. The first is irrelevant, while both of the latter two must be treated. (i) Squeeze the dirty blood out of the wound immediately and rinse it repeatedly with 20% soapy water and water for 15 minutes. (ii) Rub the wound with 2% iodine or 75% alcohol; the wound should not be stitched or bandaged. ③Immediately go to a vaccination station for human rabies vaccination within 24 hours of the bite. ④If the wound is deep, add rabies immune serum or globulin to the rabies vaccination.
