The Earth Dog, also known as the Chinese Field Dog, is a genus of canine in the family Canidae and is mainly found widely in rural Han China and Southeast Asia. They are relatively docile, not prone to attack humans, can live in packs, are territorial, easy to breed, loyal and not prone to disease. It was widely used in rural areas for housekeeping and early hunting.
