There is no specific medicine for gastroenteritis in dogs, the cause needs to be found and the solution is different for different causes. For example: foreign bodies in the gastrointestinal tract, can also be secondary to gastroenteritis. The so-called diarrhoea is not as simple as many owners think. It is either vomiting and diarrhoea or gastroenteritis, a cough or a cold. Even gastroenteritis can be mild or severe, and naturally the treatment options are different.
