Do I need to be vaccinated if I am bitten by my own dog?

If you have been bitten by your own dog, you should be vaccinated promptly. After a dog bite bleeds, squeeze the blood out of the wound, rinse the wound with running tap water and soapy water for more than 15 minutes, then disinfect the wound with iodophor and go to the hospital for vaccination promptly. Vaccinate your pet regularly at regular intervals.
