Common Wolfhound Breeds

Wolfhound, also known as wolf dog and sheepdog. A dog produced by crossing a wild wolf with a traditionally bred dog, so named because of its wolf-like appearance. Famous breeds include the Czechoslovakian wolfdog (a black guard dog, intelligent by nature, occasionally clever with its owner, inquisitive, extremely loyal to its owner and fierce with its enemies).
