Cat in heat

The most common phenomenon of a female cat in heat is that she will howl loudly, her purring is completely different from normal, her vulva is also engorged with blood, and a few female cats have the habit of urinating anywhere during heat. When you stroke her back or tail, she will raise her buttocks, swing her tail to the side and lie on the ground with her hind feet stepping on each other, which is the position of a female cat ready for mating. This is particularly noticeable in cats kept indoors. The oestrus cycle is 7-21 days (the interval between the last oestrus and the next oestrus) and the duration of oestrus is about 7 days (the duration of this oestrus). Oestrus is obvious in spring and autumn, while some breeds of cats are not obvious and cannot be easily observed. During oestrus, male cats will adopt a standing position, hold their tails high and spray urine on vertical objects, while spraying urine, their tails will be accompanied by a shaking phenomenon. During oestrus, it will run outside to look for the female cat in oestrus, when the male cat is most likely to get lost. It is important to note that the male cat is in passive oestrus, stimulated by a female in oestrus or smelling a female in oestrus. Dogs and cats that do not breed as females should be de-sexed early as the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.
