Can Guide Dogs Get on Buses

Guide dogs are allowed on public transport, but they must have a working dog document to board public transport. In accordance with the Regulations on the Construction of a Barrier-Free Environment (Decree No. 622 of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China), Chapter 2, Article 16, “Visually impaired persons carrying guide dogs to and from public places shall comply with the relevant state regulations, and the staff of public places shall provide barrier-free services in accordance with the relevant state regulations.
