Can cats be depressed too?

Cat depression can manifest itself as depression, unresponsiveness, lethargy and loss of energy. Depression in cats is often caused by a lack of owner care and owners not spending regular time with their cats. Cats need companionship just like people do. If a cat is depressed, owners can take it out and interact with it more often to alleviate the depression.
