Advantages of the Afghan Hound: good temperament, very fast runner, adaptable, hardy and heat tolerant, independent character. Disadvantages: low IQ, difficult to train, needs a lot of exercise every day to release energy, and the Afghan Hound’s coat is not easy to care for.
