What kind of dog is the Chinese Field Dog

The Chinese Field Dog is a native Chinese dog breed, also known as the “native dog”, but because it is naturally bred, it is not very genetically stable and has obvious regional characteristics. The Chinese Field Dog was once widely distributed in China’s central Han region and Southeast Asia, and was first bred in rural areas, but as urbanization accelerated, the breed was gradually accepted as a pet dog. After a long period of free interbreeding, the native dogs in each region have produced certain differences, but most of them are medium-sized dogs, with a shoulder height of 25-55 cm and a weight of 10-30 kg. According to the regions, they can be roughly divided into the northern strain, the two broad strains and the Jiangsu and Zhejiang strains.
