The crate training method of training a Samoyed to urinate and defecate requires, as the name implies, first preparing a crate for the Samoyed puppy. This crate should have enough room for the dog to stand and turn around, but not so large that it can squat on the side to defecate. Put the dog in the crate for a period of time each day, then take the dog out for a reasonable amount of time to defecate.
