Japanese earth dog is Shiba Inu or Akita

Shiba Inu and Akita are both Japanese native dogs. The Shiba Inu is the medium-sized and oldest dog, and is a national treasure of Japan. The Akita is the national dog of Japan and is the family pet dog in Japan. Akita Prefecture is the birthplace of the Akita dog, and the area is mountainous in the north and very cold in the winter, making the Akita dog a capable working dog and watchdog. The Shiba Inu is a sharp, independent dog with a strong, agile body and the color of firewood, and used to be trained by humans to hunt small animals. The Shiba Inu’s appearance seems to be a smaller version of the Japanese Akita. In Japan, Shiba Inu is designated as a “natural monument” by the government.
