The Doberman Pinscher is a very large dog with a tall, muscular, aggressive body that is inherently intimidating and unsuitable for homes and densely populated cities because the more people there are, the more likely they are to bite. Dobermans are alert and agile, loyal and protective, but that doesn’t mean they are suitable for homes. Although Doberman Pinschers are alert and agile, they also like to chew and pounce on people, and there are endless problems when they see people; although they are loyal and protective, they are extremely hostile to strangers, and when placed in a crowd they are like a bomb that can explode at any time. And it has a lot of stamina and energy, and needs some real exercise or work every day to burn off this natural energy. A dog that doesn’t release energy will show destructive behaviors like barking or tearing up furniture, when really he’s just bored. So we need to take him out regularly to play and exercise to help him release his excess energy.
