Labradors generally enter an awkward phase at 3 months of age, which lasts until about 8 months of age. During this time, the dog replaces a lot of fetal hair and milk teeth, and the bones begin to develop, so the body proportions become uncoordinated and the coat looks uneven. However, owners do not need to worry about this, as it will naturally recover in adulthood. During this period, owners are advised to strengthen the dog’s nutrition and increase calcium, lecithin and vitamin supplements appropriately to make it grow rapidly. Labrador will generally start to pop its head when it is 9-11 months old, that is, its head becomes wider. Natural dog food is the most suitable food for it during this period, but it is better to choose a well-blended special dog food, because it is rich in protein, trace elements, vitamins and a lot of other nutrients, which can fully meet its growth needs.
