Puppy food to eat until a few months

Puppy food is eaten until 12 months of age, and dogs can eat adult dog food after 12 months of age. It depends on the breed of the dog, the smaller the dog the earlier the change to adult dog food. When changing dog food, the change should be done gradually over a week’s time so that the puppy’s gut does not get used to it. The nutrients in adult dog food are not as balanced and digestible as puppy food.
