The husky coat has 2 layers: the outer coat and the down coat. The ratio of inner hair (down) to outer hair is generally 8 (inner hair):1 (outer hair), these thick inner hairs secrete a kind of grease used to waterproof, but also because of this grease to create a very scientific insulation (INSULATION), against the outside heat and cold.
