Dog shaving will not be cooler

Dogs don’t feel cooler when they shave. Dogs use their mouths and sebaceous glands to dissipate heat, and the sebaceous glands are mainly located on the foot pads, while there are no sebaceous glands on the skin of the dog’s dorsum and belly. To keep your dog cool in the summer, you can place him in a cool environment, provide enough drinking water and trim the hair on the foot pads. If you really want to shave, don’t shave your dog directly against the skin, as this can easily damage the skin follicle and cause the hair to grow back unevenly, affecting the aesthetics. Just help them to cut some of them short, it will be okay.
