Dogs eat human toothpaste no big deal, toothpaste containing fluoride, xylitol may cause poisoning in dogs, but the dose is not much, usually fine. There may be gastrointestinal discomfort or vomiting. Put these items away on a daily basis and don’t let your dog have a chance to eat them indiscriminately. The toothpaste for dogs is edible, and generally in order for dogs to brush their teeth, they will also make it chicken-flavored or beef-flavored. Pet-specific toothpaste is fine to eat.
